GAMERRO, Carlos

Carlos GAMERRO, a prose writer and literary scholar, has authored four novels, most recently La aventura de los bustos de Eva (2004), two collections of short stories, including El libro de los afectos raros (2005), and has had a film script produced. In addition, Gamerro has translated Shakespeare, Auden, and Harold Bloom. His script, Tres de corazones [‘Three of Hearts’], was produced in 2007 as a feature film directed by Sergio Renán. A professor and literary critic, Gamerro has taught seminars on Joyce and Borges at the Buenos Aires Latin American Art Museum (MALBA).
