Anas ATAKORA (poet, fiction writer, nonfiction writer; Togo), currently a PhD candidate at Dalhousie University in Canada, has had his third poetry collection, En attendant le poème, appear in early 2015. The upcoming Tante Béa will be his first short story collection. In 2008, Atakora received the ‘Plumes émergentes’ award from the University of Lomé. He participates courtesy of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State.

Mawule Kuamvi KUAKUVI (born in Lome, 1945) is one of his nation's well known human rights activists. He is head of the division of academics in the registrar's office at the University of Benin, where he previously headed the department of philosophy, and continues to lecture in philosophy. Dr. Kuakuvi teaches the history of philosophy, moral and political philosophy, the philosophy of nature and ontology. He was educated at the University Urbaniana de Propaganda Fide in Rome, and received the M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Paris-Sorbonne.

Yawo Weka ALADJI (born 1941, Hanyigba-Duga) is assistant professor of the sociology of communications in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Lome, and director and publisher of Editions Haho. Dr. Aladji was formerly head of the publication section of Togo's Ministry of Information and was a journalist at Radio-Lome. His publications include La Voix de l'Ombre (1985) and La Mediation des Conseils de Presse et Organismes Similaires dans l'Afrique en Transition: Annales de l'Université du Benin (1998).
