Haifa ABU AL-NADI  (fiction writer, screenwriter, translator; Jordan) teaches English at the Applied Sciences University in Amman, and translates for the Kalima and Al-Qattan foundations. Author of screenplays and magazine articles, in 2012 she published the volume of stories على أهبة الحلم [On the Threshold of Dreaming] and, in 2016, the collection مُراودات   [Propositions]. She participates courtesy of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. State Department.

Hind SHOUFANI (poet, filmmaker; Jordan) was born to Palestinian parents in Lebanon and lives in Dubai. Shoufani has made a number of short films and documentaries, and is now at work on the documentary Journey in Migration (2011) and the feature-length This War on Love. She has been a film instructor in Jordan and Lebanon, and written on the arts for the Beirut newspapers The Daily Star and The Guide.

Mazen A.I. SA’ADEH has published two novels, written five plays, and worked on several films as writer and director. His most recent project, My Friend, My Enemy (2004), is a documentary about friendships between Palestinian and Israeli women. In 2004, he co-founded the Open Workshop for Culture and the Arts in Palestine, an organization that encourages cultural exchange between Palestine and the global community through art. An TV producer and news editor, she has won numerous awards for her documentaries about prominent figures in Arabic letters. She writes a regular column for the Jordanian daily Al-Dustour and comments on literary topics for Amman Magazine, where she also serves on the editorial board.

Yahya ALABDALLAH a Palestinian Jordanian writer, director and producer, is the co-founder of ME Films. His Six minutes (2004) won prizes at the Al-Jazeera Film Festival, the Jordanian Film competition and the Trenton Film Festival; A Man in a Cup was selected to show at many international film festivals. In 2008 he directed two shorts, SMS and Pummelo; his first feature film, Cuty is in development. He participates courtesy of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the US Department of State.
