Azamat OMURALIEV (russian: Азамат Омуралиев) participated in Between the Lines: Silk Routes in the summer of 2016. He was born in 1998 in a Central Asian country Kyrgyzstan and lived most of his life there. Has spent several years in Germany and currently studies in the Netherlands. He has previously worked as a reviewer for magazine Bishkekchanka, was the recepient of Kyrgyz National Prize 'Rakurs' for 'the best analytical article on Kyrgyz cinema,' and currently works as an editor of culture at the news outlet Kloop.kg.
