From 2002 through 2024, 91st Meridian published brilliant and talented writers from around the world, often in translation, and always engaging with the questions and challenges its editors judged most pertinent to international literary culture at the time of publication. We are proud of the 22 years of work that editor Nataša Ďurovičová put into the magazine; the five years of vital service by her co-editor, Kathleen Archer; and the contributions of the writers, translators, scholars, and graduate assistants who wrote what was published and/or supported its publication.

When technical concerns made it necessary to transition the IWP website to a new platform, it unfortunately proved infeasible to move the 91st archives over to the new site. As such, its archives have been stored in the Wayback Machine, where you can read it right now if you like, including the final issue, which was published in October of 2024 and serves, in a way, as a bridge to the program’s past two decades.
