Azhari AIYUB (fiction writer, playwright, essayist; Indonesia) is the author of Perempuan Pala [Nutmeg Women], a short story collection, and the novel Kura-kura Berjanggut [The Bearded Turtle], which won the 2018 Kusala Sastra Khatulistiwa literary award. He is currently working on a new story centered on the Sumatran tiger.
