holds a degree in English from Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu, and has been teaching literature and creative writing there for the past ten years. He is also a poet and short story author in his own right, whose work circles themes of ecology. His publications include creative writing textbooks, and essays on English literature and linguistics; currently he is readying a story collection for publication.
