The German poet, fiction writer and scholar Anja KAMPMANN (IWP '10) is the 2013 winner of the MDR literary prize, awarded annually by a jury comprised of literary critics and audiences. Her story "Jsem--Ich werde ihnen erzaehlen," about a nomadic oil rig driller drifting away from his identity and language, was praised for giving "a grand poetic language to a pressing subject matter."
